Battleground Oil Specialty Terminal Company, LLC. (BOSTCO) located in LaPorte, TX, is owned 55% by Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP and 45% by TransMontaigne Partners LP.

The terminal is located on the Houston Ship Channel at mile marker 43. The terminal has 52 storage tanks for handling residual fuel, feedstocks, distillates and other black oils and has deep draft docks to allow access for the largest ships capable of navigating the Houston Ship Channel.

BOSTCO chose I&I Soft Craft Solutions based on our reputation for executing large projects and our 40-year history of providing quality installations, done on time with excellent safety performance.

I&I Soft Craft Solutions fabricated and installed a Vertical Standing Seam Tank Panel System on the 49 tanks that required insulation. This project is one of the largest greenfield tank insulation projects recently undertaken in the U.S. The majority of the tanks were 110’ in diameter up to 194’ in diameter and up to 60’ high.
